Wednesdays are packed from 5a-9p...we didn't have too much time at the house. BUT...enough time to see a snake. While the kids were at church (swimming actually with the youth) we had a moment outside. Shawn saw a SNAKE. Unfortunately, it got away while he grabbed something to kill it with.  Apparently I was supposed to keep my eye on it while he got the weapon of choice.

So in honor of NATIONAL DOG DAY.  TJ (Tipper Jack) has been part of the Glenn Family for years.  Safe to say this city dog is on sensory OVERLOAD in his new home. We thought TJ might want to do us a favor and hunt. Too bad we say find and he hears make. We need a country dog...he is far too over stimulated.

Needless to say the snake got away.  We need to step up our skills.
I am thinking Sweetwater Rattlesnake Round UP!!!

WELL...not much happened COUNTRY yesterday.  TONS of change.  My husband has been working on cleaning out the attic at our prior home.  I was back to work yesterday and the kids all BACK TO SCHOOL.  It was a big day filled with mixed emotions.  I am sure so many can relate.

I received a text from SOMEONE (I will not name) and was told I should be ashamed.  The someone was left alone in an empty home to clean out the attic.  The attic has boxes and tubes full of basically baby clothes, toys and pictures.  SOMEONE had a hard time being alone, empty house, tons of memories as we go through so many changes.  Even good changes can make you pause and reflect.

We are hearing a lot lately about our children's phases.  I am guilty of feeling less than as a mother and doubting I have been the best at every phase.  Here is a thought.  If we are busy mourning the past we might miss the present. I miss my babies but every phase has been amazing.

Don't worry about SOMEONE...as we do often we...CALLED GRANNY!  Granny is a SUPERHERO!!!  Just saying!

A small treasure from the attic.  My college freshman (aka BUG) years ago!

I promise MANY COUNTRY adventures to come.  I have learned that having to eat on the patio at 6am is not so great for my hair.

Hello ALL!

Maybe I am crazy but I think there will be some things we can share in the future that might interest you or just make you smile.

Shawn and I have been married for 20 years this last May.  We have a wonderful family.   Ashley is 18, Colby 13 and Erin 12...not leaving out my wonderful step son Austin 20.  We have all lived in the same house for 18 years.  SO MUCH change this summer.  Ashley is off to college, Austin plans to move here from Washington and we have MOVED TO THE COUNTRY.  Just this weekend we made the big move.  Shawn and I both spent part of our childhoods in the country but this will be new to the Glenn kiddos.  I am talking 7 acres, ponds and snake skins outside your door kind of country.

We are all living in one big room while we renovate the rest of the house.  Big plans for outside including four wheelers, gardens, horse and MORE.  Surely between living together, renovating and creating our country oasis there will be plenty to share.

HERE WE GO!!!!!!  Older pic...but all 6 of us!
